Q: Do you accept my insurance?
A: We accept almost every major medical plan from VSP to Blue Cross/Blue Shield; give us a call and we'll assist you in finding out what your coverage is.

Q: Where can I find parking?
A: Because we are located in central downtown the parking meters are your best option.

Q: How much does an eye exam and contact lens exam cost?
A: We are priviledged to have our doctors come from The Brown Center They are experts in optometry, and have an immense knowledge of the latest technologies in the field. Our prices are more than reasonable starting at $60 for a basic eye health check and eyeglass refraction. Contact lens evaluations are additional and range from an additional $40-$115 depending on the complexity of the evaluation.

Q: Do you carry vintage frames?
A: We thought you would never ask; Providence Optical specializes in both custom frame designs per our customers requests, in addition to the 200+ vintage frames to search through. We would be glad to assist you with placing lenses in your own vintage frames, or help you find one of the many at our location.
